I Want to Talk About Pluto…

I wanted to add an image that represents Pluto in astrology, but stumbled upon this instead. It’s been buried in my phone since 2019. This is actually The Hierophant card, the 5th card in the Major Arcana of the Tarot but for some reason it reminds me of Pluto, which makes sense…

The Hierophant is associated with society, organized religion and tradition, keeper of sacred knowledge. The way Pluto as The Hierophant is portrayed here, God of the Underworld, the planet in Astrology (the higher octave of Mars) that represents death, destruction, the occult, what’s hidden, desire for obsession and control – fits here.

It’s from a tattoo themed tarot deck I own and the artwork was done by tattoo artist Daniel Albrigo. It’s my favorite card (I love occult imagery).

So Pluto has been coming up a lot for me lately, especially now since we are living in even more unstable times. I see many astrologers, healers and occultists talk about Pluto on social media whether it’s on a personal level or a collective level.

Yes, we’ve been living in unstable times since 2020 and even way before that but it’s just more out in the open now. Because that’s what Pluto does – exposes your true motives whether it’s on a collective or personal level. And because it’s in Aquarius – the zodiac sign associated with technology, the collective and rebellious, out-of-the-box thinking – it is affecting groups of people. It is affecting the USA, France, and other current events where there is pushback against the establishment.

Most people trusted their government, most people thought that because they graduated from college and have a degree that they would be guaranteed a job. That people would be able to get married, buy a house, have children and live the American Dream.

People have also lost their benefits, can’t afford gas, groceries or even healthcare.

We are in an ongoing war with Iran where innocent civilians including children were killed, while Israel continues to destroy Gaza and it’s people.

Pluto is heavy energy, and Pluto can be tied to abuse of power. Pluto can take your psyche to really dark places.

And so here we are, enter Pluto in Aquarius which lasts until 2043.

Pluto in Aquarius could lead to groundbreaking technology and medicine, and social innovation that changes the course of history. (I half agree with this. If anything AI has modified how we work while at the same time a lot of people are losing their jobs)

Activism
Pluto in Aquarius could lead to a period of activism like the world has never seen before.

Pluto’s transit into Aquarius is expected to last until 2043. Pluto’s orbit is 248 years long, which is the same age as the United States, so the last time Pluto was in Aquarius was in the 1700s (Young people are fed up with a broken system – look at what’s happening in France)

Question to ponder: where is Pluto in your personal astrology – your natal placements/aspects or your birthchart, and what is it doing in your life?

For me personally – my Pluto is in Libra in the 8th house. Long term transit: Pluto sextile (a positive aspect) Venus.

What Pluto is doing to you based on where Pluto is in the house of your birthchart:

2nd house: Pluto will transform what you own, your property, your money, your values.

3rd house: Pluto will transform the way you communicate

7th house: Pluto will transform your relationships/partnerships of all kinds (personal and business)

10th house: Pluto will transform your career and how you’re seen in public

11th house: Pluto will transform you through friends, groups, social media; your goals and dreams

12th house: Pluto will transform the most hidden parts of you – your dreams, your subconscious. Psychic and spiritual stuff.

Not only that, but depending on what SIGN the house Pluto is in will color your experience.

Black Tourmaline

Smokey Quartz

Selenite
Pluto’s clearing after the descent. High-vibration and purifying, it doesn’t do the shadow work itself but clears the field once the underworld material has been faced. Useful after intense Pluto transits, rituals, or cord-cutting to reset the space.

Libra Sun, Aquarius Moon – Monday Oct 19, 2026

Today is Monday, October 19th 2026 / Pacific Standard Time

With the sun in Libra, and an Aquarius moon – you might be feeling more detached and concerned about humanity as I am. My moon is in Libra so I definitely desire balance, justice, harmony and beauty for all beings. But the shadow side of Libra moon is feeling indecisive and helpless about what’s going on in this world. Since my moon is in the 8th house I am also thinking about death, as people are always dying whether we are aware of it or not. And that’s what I’m feeling while typing this at work.

There are also the bigger transits that affect the collective as a whole, such as Pluto in Aquarius. Pluto is the planet of transformation, death, destruction, the desire for obsession and control. When it is in Aquarius (humanitarian, rebel, technology) – you can correlate this to current events on our planet, particularly in the United States and France, right?

It also feels selfish of me to focus on bringing this site back up and attempting to sell whatever crystals and stones I have left from when I started this small business in 2017. If you read my bio, I was inspired to start this crystal shop. I was naive to think it would replace my 9 to 5. It didn’t. I made money selling crystals but I also had expenses. I also had a friend pass away in 2019. I also had bots attack my site in 2020.

The reality is – our current administration has made everything expensive. Basic needs such as food and gas are pricey. So people aren’t buying things as much. Crystals and stones are not a need, they are a want.

So like Pluto, people who are selling things online must transform what they’re offering at a time where people don’t have as much resources for art, entertainment, spiritual growth and development.

You know what I’ve observed that people are really into right now? Astrology.

Although astrology is considered a pseudoscience – using the stars and planets that were present at the time of your birth – is really a study of yourself and your relationships with people over time (synastry).
And for as long as we are alive, we are going to be dealing with ourselves AND people. People young and old are using astrology to understand themselves, to understand relationships and to understand what’s going on in our world.

And so I hope to write more about astrology on here and how I am learning it from my perspective.

But the biggest truth is? I’m still forever learning.

For half my life (I’m 49 years old now) I only focused on my sun sign (Sagittarius). It was not until my late 30’s that I started to pay attention to my big 3 (sun, moon, rising) and not until I hit my 40’s that I barely scratched the surface of learning astrology.

So yes, I have A LOT to write about.

And I hope you will join me. My Mercury is in Capricorn by the way so the way I write about astrology is more practical and clear, I hope.

Can an Etsy Witch Really Get You a Job?

+ What kind of person do you want to be when no one is watching?

Use tarot cards to explore their questions and challenges rather than answer or solve them.

 

Since we are in living in unstable and desperate times where people with even college degrees and stable jobs have recently become unemployed, more and more people are turning to Etsy witches and are sharing their results on TikTok

What is an Etsy witch, you ask? According to Urban Dictionary:

An “Etsy witch” refers to individuals selling spells, rituals, and other magical services on the online marketplace Etsy.

So with that definition in mind, people want to know:

Can an Etsy witch really get you a job?

I am following this one guy whose made it his entire niche on TikTok – laid off from his job, unemployed while seeking the help of an Etsy witch. The results so far is that he’s been getting more job interviews after consulting this witch but not the job. The Etsy witch has stated that he won’t get a job until November.

And so we wait.

People turn to witches because they are tuned in to the energy of the universe. It doesn’t mean that they’re psychic (and let’s face it – the term ‘psychic’ has built a negative association with scammers; also the word ‘psychic’ can mean many things to different people but I will save this for another blog post). But if they have developed their intuition over time whether it’s through learning tarot, astrology, witchcraft, meditation, energy work, and countless other modalities that witches practice; a person could become psychic over time.

So once again, can an Etsy witch really get you a job?

The answer is a 50/50 chance, so maybe. Like with everything metaphysical, nothing is an immediate YES or NO. If the guy started getting more interviews AFTER he consulted that witch, that means she helped him direct his energy towards getting interviews. She worked with his inquiry, most likely grounded herself before she called upon hers as well as the inquirer’s own guides, masters, teachers & loved ones to assist her in providing an answer to his question. An invocation and then channeling.

And even though it’s a big MAYBE, we can still direct our energy on focusing on what we truly want. The guy unknowingly set an intention to consult an Etsy witch to see if he’ll get a job soon. Once you set an intention – whether consciously or even subconsciously – the universe starts to work in your favor. In this case, the unemployed lawyer started getting more job interviews.

My first tarot reading was over 15 years ago and I could relate to this guy because I was also seeking answers. I wanted for something to change but I had no idea what. In any case, the tarot lady gave me a general reading and I remember the first card she pulled was The Magician and she said “you already have the tools you need to get started” and that always stuck with me.

Conclusion:

People are always going to be skeptics when it comes to the witchy and metaphysical. But then if it doesn’t work, why are there SO MANY witches offering their services on Etsy? Just some food for thought.

Meme: When Your Chakras Are All Aligned

I made a meme for once! It says:

When your chakras are all aligned.

The image is of Thanos the Mad Titan who collects the Infinity Stones for his own selfish gain.

I’m going to attempt to relate this to the chakras. I know, I know; crystal healing, chakra healing and the wellness industry in general has become the butt of jokes; super played out and oversaturated with cringe-y BS these days but…

you can’t deny that in spite of fake or misinformed people, underneath it all is the Energy itself.

I’m going to write as authentically as I can, from my own words.

Why should you care about aligning your chakras?

In theory, you don’t have to ever align your chakras, it’s not like you’ll die if you don’t ever get to know the chakra system. The truth is, you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do. Ever.

But from personal experience and existing in a physical, human body for 44 years now – I have to say that the energy we put out into the world is very important. Once you learn and master this energy, in some ways you become like Thanos – almighty and all powerful. You’ve mastered and worked with your own subtle energy – you can control it and you can manifest whatever is for you.

Read that again: you can manifest whatever IS for you. Notice I didn’t say you can manifest whatever you want.

Just because we align our chakras and heal ourselves doesn’t mean life is going to be perfect from here on out. The wellness industry has a tendency to focus on the love and light part and not so much on shadow work and integration. Understanding what each chakra does can help us understand our own nuanced energy.

If anything, you’ll keep learning and experiencing new things. In other words, you’ll continue to level up.

I’ve come to learn that our physical bodies aren’t really the ones running things – they’re simply physical manifestations of the soul’s biological shell. A beautiful shell that we occupy during our time here on earth.

It is only a small part of who we are.

Not aligning your chakras means that you or I will be more prone to imbalances – negative feelings of entitlement, anger, jealousy, depression, anxiety and the list goes on and on.

I want to add this excerpt from a book called Wheels of Light by Rosalyn L. Bruyere:

Our intention becomes very clear when we understand that, whether we are conscious of it or not, we influence our environment. For example, when I began to understand that my aura – my energy field – controlled whether plants lived or died in my home, I began to further see that my aura also affected the way my pets lived, the way my children lived, the way my neighbors lived. To have power is to have impact on everything around us. We can learn not to fear that impact but to use it – consistently, consciously, and responsibly – integrating it in a natural way into our daily living. If each of us were self-responsible for having more power, for carrying more light, more love, and more wisdom, then surely the planet would be a better place.

So how to experience your chakras? It’s not like they are tangible “things”…

3 Reasons Why You Might Be Drawn to Rocks✨💎✨

People tend to ask the question “why am I drawn to rocks”?🗿 and then they end up here on this website.😊

That’s a really good question to ponder or ask Google, lol.

Ask yourself: why ARE you drawn to rocks?

Here are some ideas based off personal experience – of course take only whatever resonates with you:

1. Your intuition, your soul, higher self, higher consciousness – whatever you want to call it – wants to communicate with you through the stones.

It can’t seem to get your attention in this noisy, fast-paced world we live in so it’s trying to get your attention through the crystals and/or stones.

1a. Why would a stone want to communicate with me?

If you are drawn to the stones in the first place, then there is a mutual resonance happening; in other words – you are vibing with crystal. Just follow it and see where it goes. If you knew everything there was to know about our beautiful and mysterious earth, we wouldn’t be here to discover it.

2. There’s probably something you need from the rocks that it can only provide at that exact moment in time:

+ some kind of healing or spiritual insight
+ learning how to tune out the world around you to find the answers you seek
+ learning how to slow down and be still and most importantly:
+ learning how to listen to yourself.

3. In Native American tradition, everything on this beautiful earth is considered a relative – the trees, the plants, the animals.

The phrase “all my relations” originates from them, calling rocks the Stone People. Stone People hold ancient memory and records of the Earth. They have medicine and we must learn to listen in order to receive it. Read more about the Stone People here and here.

In other words, you probably have some deep listening to do.

But what about the meme about the rocks in the driveway…why am I not attracted to those?

Me: I want more crystals. My bank account: There are rocks in the driveway.

 

Those rocks are the mundane part of this world. We see them ALL the time so we just don’t notice them as much.

Our personal electromagnetic energy field also known as our aura is composed of light and color frequencies therefore we are attracted to the same.

Our souls love the light filled crystals and colorful, iridescent stones.

Bonus reason you might be drawn to rocks: depending on the element of your astrological sign – for example, all humans are a combination of fire, air, earth and water – you might be naturally attracted to rocks because you just need to be grounded and anchored. This is especially true for those who are fire, air or water dominant.

Conclusion:

There really are countless reasons as to why a person is drawn to rocks. This is just a few of them and hopefully gives you some food for thought.

Why Are Crystals So Expensive?

This is actually a very common question that I often hear from buyers, including myself after having my fair share of buying crystals & stones from metaphysical stores around town as well as online, you begin to wonder:

Why Are Crystals So Expensive?

Bare with me as I attempt to shed some light as to why buying crystals and stones can get expensive.

Also please be aware that these are based on my personal experience of being the buyer and eventually the seller. I am not speaking for everyone else.

A buyer’s point of view:

If you’re viewing this from the buyer’s point of view, well yes of course you’re going to think buying crystals at retail prices tend to get…yup, PRICY! Especially when they’re little stones. I totally get your thinking on this because as much as I love minerals, I have to be careful on not spending too much on them as well.

A seller or small business owner’s point of view:

If you’re viewing this from a small business person’s point of view, you probably understand that the whole point of having a business is to make money. And so crystals have to be marked up to pay for the cost of doing business – like whether you own a brick & mortar or e-commerce store there’s rent, fees, advertising costs, travel expenses like flying or driving to the Gem & Mineral shows in other states to buy those crystals, etc. and so much more.

So you see, those costs are added on to the crystals. But not everyone does this, as it all depends on the person. I mean, some sell just for the love of it. Others live in a state where the cost of living is low so there’s no need to mark up the stones while others (like me) live in a state that has a high cost of living so yes, in order for the effort of doing business to be worth it – crystals have to be marked up.

Other factors to consider:

  • The mineral or mineral combination might be rare or hard to find. For example: Larimar, Opal, Moldavite, Libyan Desert Glass and Ajoite just to name a few.
  • The people who actually mine minerals risk their lives by hiking up or going into a treacherous location such as a cave or a mountain, or an ancient volcanic area.
  • If it’s an Aura coated crystal (for example, Aqua Aura is permanently bonded with gold vapor), the cost of getting the crystal coated can get expensive.
  • Some wholesalers will mark up the price of the crystal, therefore in order to make your money back…you’ll also have to mark it up. Or not.
  • Each crystal or stone is a one of a kind piece. No two are alike. Also, they last forever. Can you imagine how much money that crystal has accumulated? You could be dead and that crystal or stone will continue to exist long after you and I.
  • The bigger the crystal, the more it costs to ship it. So yes I’m adding shipping costs to the list.

Conclusion:

There’s going to be all kinds of reasons as to why buying a crystal or stone can get expensive. As always, do your own research and trust yourself to make the right purchase.

Also think of it this way: if you’re buying something that’s a tad expensive let’s say from your local retail shop – you are actually helping that shop stay in business. Same with an online store. If you love supporting small businesses like mine, then the cost won’t seem so harsh. It’s all a matter of perspective and what you think is valuable, everyone is buying or selling at any given time.
