With the sun in Libra, and an Aquarius moon – you might be feeling more detached and concerned about humanity as I am. My moon is in Libra so I definitely desire balance, justice, harmony and beauty for all beings. But the shadow side of Libra moon is feeling indecisive and helpless about what’s going on in this world. Since my moon is in the 8th house I am also thinking about death, as people are always dying whether we are aware of it or not. And that’s what I’m feeling while typing this at work.
There are also the bigger transits that affect the collective as a whole, such as Pluto in Aquarius. Pluto is the planet of transformation, death, destruction, the desire for obsession and control. When it is in Aquarius (humanitarian, rebel, technology) – you can correlate this to current events on our planet, particularly in the United States and France, right?
It also feels selfish of me to focus on bringing this site back up and attempting to sell whatever crystals and stones I have left from when I started this small business in 2017. If you read my bio, I was inspired to start this crystal shop. I was naive to think it would replace my 9 to 5. It didn’t. I made money selling crystals but I also had expenses. I also had a friend pass away in 2019. I also had bots attack my site in 2020.
The reality is – our current administration has made everything expensive. Basic needs such as food and gas are pricey. So people aren’t buying things as much. Crystals and stones are not a need, they are a want.
So like Pluto, people who are selling things online must transform what they’re offering at a time where people don’t have as much resources for art, entertainment, spiritual growth and development.
You know what I’ve observed that people are really into right now? Astrology.
Although astrology is considered a pseudoscience – using the stars and planets that were present at the time of your birth – is really a study of yourself and your relationships with people over time (synastry).
And for as long as we are alive, we are going to be dealing with ourselves AND people. People young and old are using astrology to understand themselves, to understand relationships and to understand what’s going on in our world.
And so I hope to write more about astrology on here and how I am learning it from my perspective.
But the biggest truth is? I’m still forever learning.
For half my life (I’m 49 years old now) I only focused on my sun sign (Sagittarius). It was not until my late 30’s that I started to pay attention to my big 3 (sun, moon, rising) and not until I hit my 40’s that I barely scratched the surface of learning astrology.
So yes, I have A LOT to write about.

So for today, we are aligning ourselves with the Moon on a Monday. Only rightfully so; for most people Monday is the start of the work week. Monday is when we ease into the week, for example our response to early morning chatter or demands from us without our coffee or breakfast usually makes us moody and irritable, amirite?
Or being forced to get to work right away on a Monday…why?
Moon = intuition, dreams, subconscious, feminine energy. Working with the moon also opens up your psychic faculties.
So today if have some time before getting ready for school or work – create some quiet time for yourself. Allow your mind to rest, wander, dream and receive psychic information. Doing this before you start your day will be beneficial for your mental health.

So I am going to attempt to share some activities on how to attract more money to you:

Write it down, then take action
+ Most people start off wishing for more money. Wishing and daydreaming about having money is great (it plants the seed in your imagination) but writing it down and keeping it near you – like sleeping with the note under your pillow or even writing it down in a journal and taking it with you wherever you go – the thought you wrote down starts to permeate into your subconscious thoughts.
+ When the thought you wrote down over and over again starts to enter your subconscious, you’re going to want to do some kind of action. You start doing your research on how to make more money whether it’s online or through buying books. For example, many times years ago I was writing “I am creating multiple streams of income” without any clue how I was actually going to do this. It’s okay if you don’t know how you’ll get there, but write it down anyway. The fun part is looking back on things you wrote in the past and realizing you manifested that.
+ You start building up your skill sets – whether that’s learning how to do marketing, social media, copywriting/SEO, video editing, graphic design, web design, etc. You apply for a job or a gig that you saw that fits your exact skills and they hire you? Boom, you just made your wish come true.
+ You acquire more knowledge and skills from paying more experienced people to show you how to make money by investing in yourself. When you do this, you can now create your own system on how to make money. Money must circulate so in order to make money, you have to invest in yourself by learning from others.
To really pinpoint what your strengths and weaknesses are, it is best to study yourself through astrology.
+ Perhaps if I’ve gotten to know myself sooner, I’d be a millionaire by now. But don’t be too hard on yourself if you don’t understand astrology.
+ Let’s keep it simple for now and focus on your sun sign, moon and rising sign.
+ You can even ask Chat GPT, Grok or Gemini to analyze your birth chart, specifically asking it to analyze your personality based off your birth data. Again, for accurate results you must provide your exact birth time.
I’m going to add more to this but for now, start where you are. If you have no money at the moment, then start writing down your goals. For example, I wrote at some point and wrote it over and over again:

10 years later, I passed that amount at my job. Was it magic? Yes but my will was involved. I was determined to be the best at what I do and the effort paid off.
I learned this from a book – when we write statements starting with “I am” – we are making our wishes happen in the present moment. If I started with “I will make $88,888” – you won’t see results right away as you’re writing it as if it hasn’t happened yet, you are writing it in the future.
To increase your prosperity, talk about your abundance. Words are important. Everything you say has the potential to create the reality you experience. The universe responds to your positive talk.
Repetition, imagination and emotions are key
+ You must keep writing it down (example: I am making $88,888) and draw magical symbols around it – hearts, pentacles, stars, numbers, infinity and sacred geometry symbols, etc. The universe will start to plant ideas in your head on how to make money. For example, I started selling minerals in 2017 (idea). I learned healing modalities such as Reiki and Trans Crystal Therapy (another idea).
+ You must also visualize what it would look and actually FEEL like to have this money that you’re asking for; how does it feel? This is the trickiest part because you must see yourself in another timeline where you are happy because you have this money. Feelings of joy, happiness, peace and gratitude – imagine yourself feeling this in the present moment WHILE forecasting the future that hasn’t happened yet. Because in a parallel timeline, it already happened. I know this sounds really trippy and complicated but really though; it’s all about picturing the future version of you that ALREADY has this amount of money in their bank account.
Go and commune with trees
+ Not sure why but trees have long been associated with money, wealth and abundance. I love trees or looking at anything green, it heals me. Trees take a long time to grow, the same as investing and acquiring knowledge and skills to generate money.

What it really comes down to is a balance between wanting it with a calm state of mind with an inner knowing that what you want is already yours and not wanting it out of desperation. Keep practicing your magic, keep experimenting to see what works with you and you will get there.

Here are some ideas based off personal experience – of course take only whatever resonates with you:
1. Your intuition, your soul, higher self, higher consciousness – whatever you want to call it – wants to communicate with you through the stones.
It can’t seem to get your attention in this noisy, fast-paced world we live in so it’s trying to get your attention through the crystals and/or stones.
1a. Why would a stone want to communicate with me?
If you are drawn to the stones in the first place, then there is a mutual resonance happening; in other words – you are vibing with crystal. Just follow it and see where it goes. If you knew everything there was to know about our beautiful and mysterious earth, we wouldn’t be here to discover it.
2. There’s probably something you need from the rocks that it can only provide at that exact moment in time:
+ some kind of healing or spiritual insight
+ learning how to tune out the world around you to find the answers you seek
+ learning how to slow down and be still and most importantly:
+ learning how to listen to yourself.
3. In Native American tradition, everything on this beautiful earth is considered a relative – the trees, the plants, the animals.
The phrase “all my relations” originates from them, calling rocks the Stone People. Stone People hold ancient memory and records of the Earth. They have medicine and we must learn to listen in order to receive it. Read more about the Stone People here and here.
In other words, you probably have some deep listening to do.
But what about the meme about the rocks in the driveway…why am I not attracted to those?
Me: I want more crystals. My bank account: There are rocks in the driveway.
Those rocks are the mundane part of this world. We see them ALL the time so we just don’t notice them as much.
Our personal electromagnetic energy field also known as our aura is composed of light and color frequencies therefore we are attracted to the same.
Our souls love the light filled crystals and colorful, iridescent stones.
Bonus reason you might be drawn to rocks: depending on the element of your astrological sign – for example, all humans are a combination of fire, air, earth and water – you might be naturally attracted to rocks because you just need to be grounded and anchored. This is especially true for those who are fire, air or water dominant.

It’s a powerful time to pay attention to the invisible world and receive messages in dreamtime or meditation. Social media has a way of keeping us forever distracted – always on our phones, feeling FOMO, or just scrolling and looking for the next fix. I get it, it happens to all of us…myself included.
Owls have long been associated with wisdom, knowledge and being able to ‘see’ through the dark so it only felt right to add these two lovely stones to the mix – a Labradorite and a Lapis Lazuli. Edit: only the Labradorite is available for purchase.
Why did I choose these stones?
As you probably already know, Labradorite is a stone of magic and can help you ‘tune in’ to your intuition or psychic ability.

I haven’t done a ‘Crystal of the Day’ blog post in a while. I haven’t written a blog in general for some time now, actually.
I’m not going to pretend that 2020 has been an easy year because it really hasn’t been.
All I can say is that this too shall pass and we can look back on it and say that we were still living well even in a pandemic.
If you can breathe, if you can talk, walk, see, hear and touch then you ARE living well.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to minimize people’s problems. I get that it’s not always that simple, but then again these 5 basic things ARE a necessity to living.
Although life has been strange and intense since the pandemic there’s still LOTS to be thankful for at any given day, like this stunning and uniquely structured mineral combo: an Apophyllite with Calcite. I call this an architect’s dreamhouse. Because every time I look at this mineral, it reminds me of a designer’s house. I envision this gorgeous structure to be built on a cliff overlooking the ocean with the Calcite part pointed down.

Our human existence may seem relatively short compared to the life of a crystal or a stone, but know that we are just as ancient. It would be overwhelming to remember ALL our lifetimes, it would make you crazy. And so we are “born again” into a new body, thinking we are “new”. We are in a constant state of amnesia until we have a so-called “spiritual awakening” which is really just a remembrance of who you really are.
Once you realize this then there is nothing to fear.
Of course you are still in a human body and so you have to adhere to human rules in society. So be considerate, wear a mask.

It’s true – I’ve lost interest and motivation in posting for Metaphysical Vibes.
Roxy, my best friend of 13 years passed away unexpectedly on October 20, 2019. I haven’t been the same ever since. Though I am functioning for the most part, I know that I’m still grieving and will be sad for a long time.
I know that death is not the end, but merely a transition from this existence to another. I’ve come to realize that no matter how much I understand these metaphysical concepts, the death of a loved one will always be a difficult time for any person to experience including me.
So if you’re wondering why I’ve gone quiet, that is the main reason.
Luckily, the stones have been helping me get through it. My go to stones for grieving have been from my personal collection: Aura Rose Quartz, Rhodochrosite, Jade, Obsidian. Tigers Eye to keep on moving, Nuumite to call my personal magic back, Magnetite to stay grounded. A person who follows me on Instagram recommended Snowflake Obsidian which I don’t have but I’ve managed to self heal without it.
Another reason I’ve lost motivation for selling crystals is that Etsy – where majority of my crystal sales come from – has changed the way they do things on their platform. You basically now have to advertise in order for your listings to be seen.
So instead of people finding you organically through search, they want you to pay to be found. So my sales have gone down tremendously. It’s frustrating but there’s nothing I can do about it.
I will still keep this website and try to add more crystals when I feel like it, but for now…I’m just leaving this up.

In my mind’s eye, I am on a beach with the full moon shining down on me and my beautiful crystal friends. The moon is luminous, shining so bright that it’s giving the night sky a dark purple hue. The air is warm and salty from the ocean; the sound of the waves are so relaxing. I’d like to stay here forever.
It’s been a while since I’ve blogged on here. Blogging on a regular schedule is still challenging as I struggle with what to write about, but at the same time I’m not going to beat myself up over it.
Instead, I created this collage in Photoshop when I had some down time recently. I used photos of crystals I’ve sold in the past, but also a couple of these are still available at the shop – the Quartz crystal and one of the Ammonites.
I want more money, magic and creativity in my life, as well as health, wealth and love. Basically more of what I already have. The beach in my collage represents the vast and infinite space where everything I want comes to me.

And how do you even get started, how does one get what they want?
You have to start doing energy work.
What is energy work? Energy work is the process of imagining, visualizing, meditating and calling in what you want before it actually materializes. I think subconsciously, we are all doing energy work all the time already! Whether you’re daydreaming about someone or something you want, or thinking about what you have to do next on your to do list – you are already creating it on an energetic level.
And while there are people who do energy work professionally, that doesn’t mean that you don’t have access to this same universal energy that healing professionals pull from.
If you have prayed for something and you got it, then that too is energy work although most people call it ‘praying’.
We all have access to it and that’s why I highly suggest you develop your spiritual practice. They call it a spiritual practice for a reason – you’re learning and practicing as you go – it’s a never ending process. Your spiritual practice will be unique to you and can incorporate the things that you personally love, like crystals and minerals.
As some of you know, I still have a fulltime job. I would love for this crystal shop to sustain me fulltime, but that hasn’t happened yet. But somehow, I’ve figured out a way to incorporate what I love into what I do for money.
So if you have a spiritual practice in place, I can say from personal experience that you will become even more than what you are now. You will transform, expand and transcend. Your creativity will reach new levels and you will discover that it was in you all along. You had to experience the pain, sadness and sorrow to release it and experience life from a more expanded and beautiful state.
The key to successful energy work is asking for what you want, but also remaining open to how you receive it.
We all want something. But while we want that thing, we also have to practice non attachment to that thing and allowing the universe to give you what you asked for in a multitude of ways. The universe is a creative force, do not attempt to limit it.
Another component to energy work: feeling the feelings of getting what you want.
How does it feel to receive what you asked for – do you feel love, joy, gratitude, happiness? Experience those feelings while creating what you want energetically so the universe knows it’s what you truly desire.

Energy work is real. Try it out and stay open to the possibilities. Choose whatever crystal or stone you are called to work with – it might be one or a few, it might even change over time but, let it draw out the magic in you!

Learn how to meditate, as this will be the main component to experiencing the metaphysical. Guided meditations, meditating with crystals or just going out in nature and taking a walk are just a few great ways to start.
Imagination
Remember when you were a kid and your parents most likely told you that it was “just your imagination”? Sadly, human society tends to stifle this in young children early on. Then we grow up and hardly use it anymore.
It sucks but it’s never too late to get into the habit of using your imagination again. I mean, just what if? This is also a main ingredient in magic and manifestation; you literally have to imagine and feel as if what you want is already yours.
This will help you expand your creativity and get closer to having meta experiences.
Self Knowledge
What does self knowledge have to do with the metaphysical? Everything! The more you know yourself, the closer you will get to remembering who you really are underneath your human identity: a spiritual being having a human existence. We are playing in the physical world and experiencing what it’s like to be human.
It might be overwhelming at first to realize this, but over time you will come to know the truth.
If you’re having issues with the spiritual part, then instead think of yourself as pure, conscious energy. Energy that is existing in a physical body, energy that has thoughts, feelings; energy that expresses itself through writing, speaking, touching and tasting as well as doing things that they’re good at.
