A Love + Gratitude Crystal Grid 🌹🌕🌹 Aries Full Moon October 2017

Remember the blog posts I wrote titled “what can crystals do for you”? You can revisit Part I and Part II.

Well what about this – what can YOU do for the crystals?

You can create a crystal grid.

What is a crystal grid?

A crystal grid is a formation of crystals and stones usually formed in a sacred geometrical pattern to focus your will and intention to create real results in your life.

In other words, you are creating magic.

You can create a small crystal grid using just 5 crystals – one for each element – air, water, fire, earth + spirit; with one main “amplifying” crystal in the middle. Or you can create a larger grid, like I did here with two glass pillar candles, a vase of roses and included as many crystals from my inventory and personal collection. The main takeaway is to work with what you have.💎

I wanted to create a Love and Gratitude grid to honor and give thanks to the crystals and stones in assisting me with making Metaphysical Vibes a success; the shop would not be what it is without them so it was only fitting to do something special for them on this Friday night for two reasons:

+ Last night was still a Full Moon in Aries. I started this business 6 months ago in the month of Aries, April 22nd on Earth Day.

I may never fully understand the power of crystals, but I feel their subtle influence in my life immensely. I had to give back somehow by showing them I am grateful that they are here with me now. They will be going to their new homes eventually, but until then I want to let them know that I truly appreciate their presence.

I used a red candle for love, beauty, appreciation, passion. I think if you start up a business, being passionate about the products or services you sell is really important. Red is also synonymous with Aries energy; Aries energy is about willpower, initiative, determination, courage, passion.

I used a yellow candle for gratitude, success, for strengthening manifestation work, for mental clarity and solar power.

Red roses in the middle of the grid to enforce my love and admiration for the crystals. Love is the highest vibration we can offer to others as well as to ourselves.

And finally, I set out the crystals and stones in mandala formation.

I sat in silence with the full moon and the crystal grid, with my neighbor’s dog barking and sirens wailing around feeling grateful for all that has transpired in these last 6 months.

Captivated by Optical Calcite aka “Iceland Spar”

I really want to blog more for Metaphysical Vibes, but truthfully my knowledge of the crystal kingdom is still quite limited that I don’t have a whole lot to say about it. There’s a lot of information that people can search for on the internet and I don’t want to regurgitate what’s already out there. I would like to be more intuition based but it’s proving to be a challenge to write it out.

On the flipside, I have been posting a lot of crystal videos on our Instagram page, and people seem to be into it.

I had one Optical Calcite aka Iceland Spar (which has sold) that is quite special, it’s very holographic and illusory in that everytime I twirl it in front of a light source I see something different. Like from a few angles it’s full of color and looks quite trippy and dimensional, but as soon as you turn it it disappears. I’m sort of obsessed with it.

To me Optical Calcite reminds us of our three dimensional selves – are we really real? Or are our human identities just some sort of spacesuit? At any given moment, our lives can be cut short and then we disappear, our physical bodies disintegrating back to the earth. The only thing we can hang on to is the experiences we’ve had – the metaphysical feelings of love, joy, pain, sorrow, etc.

What is real is the eternal you, pure consciousness; the one who is the observer of it all.

Do Crystals Really Work?

Most if not all humans are skeptics, I am certainly one of them. Religion and other people’s rules and ideas have been forced unto us for so long that you don’t realize you have built up a wall; a wall that is programmed to only believe in what’s been taught, what supposedly is real.

So the question I often see come up is: do crystals really work?

My answer to this is: it all depends on your personal beliefs. Do YOU believe that crystals work? Sure, I COULD regurgitate internet & book based facts about Quartz crystals being piezoelectric and pyroelectric; being used in watches, computers and other technologies. I could tell you “sure, they work!” But would you believe me?

Because it’s not medically proven that crystals work, most online articles refer to it as the placebo effect. Yet a lot of people are really into them right now and have been into them in the past. Why?

I am not here to convince you that crystals work somehow, I think anyone who is curious enough can do an experiment for themselves. Life is an experiment in itself so there is no right or wrong. Is it so far fetched to think that energy from crystals and stones doesn’t affect us? How about inanimate objects like books or toys, don’t they affect us in some way; doesn’t a toy or a stuffed animal bring instant joy to a child? Don’t books increase our knowledge of a subject or take us into another world? I believe it is the same with crystals, except crystals are as natural as it gets; Mother Earth’s ultimate gift to us.

Even though there are plenty of books, tutorials and everyone sharing knowledge about their experience with crystals, you have to learn to trust your own experiences too and know that they are just as valid and real.✨

Sit with a crystal or stone for a few minutes while turning off all distractions and close your eyes while holding the crystal. Relax and breathe deeper to get into that quiet space with the crystal. What do you feel, or sense? It is recommended that you turn off all distractions because you might miss the subtle messages you’ll receive from the crystal. And they are VERY subtle.

Maybe you won’t feel anything at all, or maybe it was just your imagination. Or maybe you can’t even still your mind at this point. Or maybe you will actually feel something.

Whatever you got out of it, trust it. Or try again a few more times. Not everyone connects with a crystal the first time. It takes practice and being patient with yourself.

For me personally, crystals and stones DO work. Not all of them, but you will attune to the ones that are meant to be with you. You will find yourself attracted to their color and light; the color or stone you choose is most likely the one you need to work with to heal some kind of issue you might be currently having or to activate something within. It is similar to color therapy; humans are naturally attracted to color and light and it just so happens that crystals and stones emit that frequency.

Remember, there is a consciousness that exists within every crystal and stone; you might not understand it but it exists. Why do people talk to their plants or hug trees or marvel at a gigantic rock? What energy do you pick up from it?🗿

The crystal knows what you need and will assist you in discovering the answers you seek.

A Variety of Quartz Crystals for Sale

I love crystals. They are beautiful to look at and have changed my life for the better.

There was a time when I was not a stable person, I was easily swept away by my own emotions or I picked up other people’s emotions thinking that they were my own.

I also complained a lot – I was always bored and just didn’t have a great outlook on life. Work always seemed to suck, I always felt stressed out and I hated everyone who was doing better than me.

In other words, I was a hater and a shit talker. I dwelled in negative thinking and operated from a lower vibration and perspective.

This is just a more personal example of what crystals can do for you (you can read Part I and Part II. When I started getting into crystals and stones 5 years ago, I wanted things to change but had no idea how that was going to happen. I brought my little stones to work with me and they sat on my desk, and little did I know that they were already working on me in the most subtle way.

Since we are imperfect, unstable beings and crystals have a stable and perfect structure, having crystals around us can help us to achieve balance and perfection.

We are already perfect beings, perfect from the time we were born. Somewhere along the way, we got bogged down by our human identity, other people’s thoughts, opinions and being a part of society. We basically got programmed and we started to forget that we are and always have been perfect, and we became lost.

My life isn’t perfect, but I can confidently say that I am perfect, whole and complete thanks to crystals. When I say I am perfection, I don’t mean vanity or conceit; I am referring to the idea that we are the creation of the universe and all that God/Goddess (the universe) has created is already perfect.

Crystals are just one of the many ways that you can achieve equilibrium. Yoga, meditation and having a regular spiritual practice are one of the other ways.

Being a new business and all, I’m not quite sure what these emails are going to say besides announcing what’s in the store. What Can A Crystal Do For You? Part II

In my first post within this series called What Can A Crystal Do For You, I mentioned briefly that crystals can raise your vibration.

Today I will discuss the 2nd thing crystals can do for us:

Crystals can open up our hearts and minds to nature.

How so? It’s safe to say that most of us are probably unconscious beings for the first half of our lives – meaning we do things automatically because that’s what our parents and their parents and society as a whole told us we should be doing. We only know what our parents and the people around us know.

When you start getting into crystals, a shift in perspective and mindset happens. You gradually start to pay attention to nature more; you want to take a walk in the park, go walking or hiking, you generally want to be outside more often. You want to live a healthier lifestyle, and you want to be a better person overall.

This is the subtle power of crystals and stones.

I can say this because I was the exact same way – sure I was aware of mother nature; I liked flowers, trees and rocks and thought they were cool. I smoked weed when I was younger and went to drum circles in the park; I thought in my limited mind that all of that was getting me close to nature somehow. I went to raves in the forest too, but that was the extent of it – I really wasn’t connected to nature at all. I was mostly an unconscious city girl who occasionally went to the beach, attended drum circles in the park and went to raves.

I am still that same city girl (now a woman) who occasionally goes to the beach (LA is huge and I’m sure you know this). The only difference is that now, I am more conscious of nature and her elemental powers. I am aware of her healing powers as well; I care about her so much that I want to be aware of leaving no trace when I’m at the beach, the forest, the park or wherever there is nature.

So in short, crystals can open up our consciousness to nature even more; they teach us to appreciate the elements – the earth, the sky, the water, the air and everything that is living and breathing.

If you do go to the beach, the forest or even just your local park – take your crystals with you to charge them. Crystals are active and they will let you know when to take them with you; they enjoy being out with us getting charged by the sun or the moon.🗿🌿🌞🌙

What Can A Crystal Do For You? Part I

This may or may not be an ongoing series at Metaphysical Vibes. I actually wanted to write a lengthy blog post about what crystals can do for you, but it was reaching a point where I was just putting it off and overthinking what I should write about.

So instead, I will write about it and break it down into short posts; basically keeping it simple and writing from a more intuitive place. The thing is, when it comes to writing about crystals is that one topic tends to lead to another – meaning that once you answer one question, another question comes up and so forth and so forth. Learning about the crystal kingdom literally means going down the rabbit hole.🐰🌀

So let’s begin!✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨💎✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

What Can A Crystal Do For You?

One of the things a crystal can do for you is raise your vibration.

Well, what does ‘raising your vibration’ even mean?

It means elevating our mood – our emotions, our feelings, our overall perspective. More specifically, our aura or our personal electromagnetic field which holds information about our mental, spiritual and physical condition. A crystal can act as a teacher or as a mirror or even as a clear channel to access the Divine and bring down those higher vibrations.

What are higher vibrations?

Higher vibrations are the unseen energies that exist above and beyond us but we always have access to; they are much higher and lighter because they aren’t bogged down by the human experience or the third dimension. Cosmic, universal, ascended masters and angelic energies are considered high vibrational, so are Quartz crystals.

I also want to add that a ‘low’ vibration doesn’t necessarily mean bad, just different. Here is a quote from Nikola Tesla that sums it up perfectly:

“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.”

What does it mean to access the Divine?

The Divine has many names – you might call it God, the Universe, Spirit, Source, etc. You might even be specific and identify with a male or female deity, or recognize the divine through nature and the elements and animals; either way, they are all one and the same.

What does all of this have to do with crystals?

Crystals, with their perfect internal structure can help us open up that channel. And when that channel opens up and we attune ourselves to its subtle energy, our personal vibration begins to elevate to that level. This is when we begin to experience what many in the metaphysical community call as ‘crystal healing’.

Our minds tend to overcomplicate things and we seem to want a more definitive, even logical answer of what crystals can do for us. But for now, I will end this blog post on that note and hope that you will think about it and maybe even try it by holding a crystal for a few minutes.
