If you are a magical, witchy kind of person then you know today is Mars day – the planet associated with the god of war also known as Aries, which is the first sign in the zodiac. But for us everyday people, the energy of Mars is really more about taking action and being assertive with your wants and needs throughout your day; although violence, sex and aggression is also associated with Mars so be aware of that.
In astrology, Mars is associated with the fire signs Aries, Leo and Sagittarius but travels all through the signs.
Anyways, so I looked through my old files and dug up this Carnelian heart stone that I animated into a gif in Photoshop. I’m a Photoshop girl through and through and have used Photoshop to create all these images you see in this blog. Comment if you’d like a tutorial! I believe this one has sold but I do have another Carnelian heart stone that I will post as soon as possible.
Carnelians are great for embodying that fire energy – creativity, passion and stimulating the lower chakras. It is even said that if you want to bring back love and physical intimacy in the bedroom, Carnelian would be a great stone to have in that space.
I also wanted to add that if you are feeling way too much energy from Carnelian on a Tuesday, it’s best to balance out the energy with something cooling /soothing such as Green Aventurine or Amethyst or any cool colored stone – greens, blues, purples to “cool” down.
