Rutile is a mineral composed primarily of titanium dioxide. So when you’re looking inside this particular crystal in different angles, the Rutile threads exhibit a metallic sheen.

Think of the world wide web and how we connect to each other through it, the threads represent that connection. The Rutile threads in this crystal also remind me of spider webs, how a spider can weave something so thin and delicate looking but if you look closely you can see its intricate details.
