Can Crystals Be Dangerous?πŸ’ŽπŸ€”β˜ οΈ

I saw this search phrase pop up on the website so I felt the need to write a blog post about it.

The question is: Can Crystals Be Dangerous?

Let’s look at this question from a few aspects:

Physical

From a physical point of view, yes they can be; they are minerals after all with very sharp points and edges. If you’re not careful handling them, there’s a chance that the crystal will cut up your fingers or hands.

The physical labor of mining these beautiful crystals so we can all enjoy them is also a very dangerous job.

For example, check out this Instagram and look at their photos; they are Professional High Mountain Crystal Hunters. What they do looks dangerous AF especially in such cold climates. High risk for high rewards.

Mental

Our minds are very powerful. If our thoughts are energetic vibrations then our thoughts can affect physical reality. I mean, think about it: your life IS a manifestation of your thoughts. It is said that once upon a time, the ancient civilizations of Lemuria and Atlantis misused the power of crystals. What we can learn from this is that we have to work with crystals that only serve the greater good of everyone, especially yourself.

Spiritual

This sort of ties in to the mental part. When the Lemurians & Atlanteans misused the crystals for their own selfish purposes, they completely forgot the spiritual aspect – of being connected and one with source energy.

We humans have a tendency to forget that we are spiritual beings having a human existence; we are often prone to greed and selfishness. And as a seller of crystals and stones, it’s always important for me to be mindful of this.

Emotional

From an emotional point of view, crystals can be dangerous if we aren’t emotionally balanced. Since crystals hold neutral light energy, they can easily pick up on vibrations in the environment they’re in. For example: if you are in a living space with crystals and you tend to fight or argue with people in that same space – the crystal will pick up on that and reflect those bad vibes.

Definitely get into a routine of clearing your crystals while also clearing yourself of negative emotions on a regular basis.

Conclusion

So to answer the question: can crystals be dangerous? Crystals CAN be dangerous if we’re the ones not being conscious and aware of how we are working with them. Remember that we are stewards, caretakers of the earth. As with everything, use your best judgment, using a healthy mix of intuition with common sense.

The Twin Calcite crystal cluster featured in the photo is spiky and dangerous looking, but his energy is awesome. I think that’s why I was drawn to him. He has sold.

How to Meditate with a Crystal or Stone

Let’s face it, crystals are very popular right now so there’s probably lots of online articles out there on how to meditate with crystals. This one is no different.

And I’ll be very honest with you – I’m writing this so that my crystal shop website can reap the SEO benefits. In the marketing and SEO world, they say that writing relevant blog content will increase your search engine results. So this is my attempt.

And who knows? This article might benefit someone out there on the World Wide Web so I might as well write something. Writing this out will definitely help me out too, as I like to practice my writing.😊

So here we go!

First of all, why even include crystals in your meditation? Why can’t you just, I don’t know…meditate?

It’s true, you can most certainly meditate without the help of crystals. You don’t need crystals to start your meditation practice.

But I’ve also learned that quieting your mind, just breathing and being present can actually be challenging at first, at least it was for me. Us humans need some assistance from the mineral kingdom – who’ve spent thousands of years growing in silence in the womb of Mother Earth.πŸ’Ž

Through a guided meditation, crystals and stones can really take your meditations to the next level!

A guided meditation is just that – meditating with a guide. All you do is sit back, relax and go into your inner world while someone is guiding you.

One of my favorite meditation teachers is Jessica Snow. She opened me up to my own world, and helped me to rediscover my true self. You can check out her website here.

If you are lacking in funds for a guided meditation, I’m sure there’s an abundance of them on YouTube. But if you’ve arrived here and you’re actually reading this, then start here.😊

So here’s a simple way to meditate with a crystal:

πŸ’Ž Find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed for at least 5-10 minutes. Feel free to set an alarm on your phone. You can also use the Insight Timer app if you feel that you need some light sound to help you meditate.

πŸ’Ž Grab the crystal or stone that you want to meditate with.

πŸ’Ž Holding your crystal in your non-writing hand, sit on a chair with both feet planted on the floor or sit on the floor with your back straight and your legs crossed – whatever’s comfortable for you.

πŸ’Ž Close your eyes, breathe in and out for a few minutes, paying attention only to your breathing.

πŸ’Ž While breathing, be aware of the crystal you hold in your hand. Observe with your eyes closed how the crystal feels in your hand and ask it for whatever you need help with.

πŸ’Ž Continue breathing and holding the crystal. Take note of any intuitive messages you are receiving if any, write it down so you can refer to it later.

πŸ’Ž You’re pretty much done once your alarm goes off, but if you’d like to keep going feel free to hit the ‘snooze’ on your phone.

That’s it! Congratulations, you just meditated with a crystal!πŸ˜ƒ How did it feel? Good, I hope!😊

βœ¨β˜πŸŒ™βœ¨β˜βœ¨β˜πŸŒ™βœ¨β˜βœ¨β˜πŸŒ™βœ¨β˜βœ¨β˜πŸŒ™βœ¨β˜

If you really want to step up your crystal meditation, here are 2 bonus steps that will really help take you to that sacred, otherworldly, metaphysical dimension:

✨ Once you’ve found your quiet space, cleanse that area first with smoke using Sage, Palo Santo or other herbs really. If you have neither, then work with incense. If you have none of these, then project a thought affirming that the space is energetically clean.

Smoke cleansing your space clears out any unwanted energies with sacred smoke, but your intention will work just as good.Β

✨ Before starting your meditation, ground by breathing in and out while imagining yourself connecting to the core of the earth. Most people imagine roots coming down from their body or a rope with a really heavy anchor or even a beam of light that has sparkles around it. Have fun and use your imagination. Doing this will keep you anchored on the earth plane, so you don’t float away.

If for some reason you weren’t able to quiet your mind when doing the meditation, that’s okay. Keep at it and try again.

The more you meditate, the easier it gets. Anything that you want to get good at takes practice. The fact that you even want to meditate shows your intention and the crystal will certainly help you achieve positive results as they are intelligent like that.

How Can We Experience “Heaven on Earth”?

I’ve been seeing the phrase “heaven on earth” a lot more lately; I didn’t know what it fully meant until I started delving into meditation and working with crystals.

When I think of heaven, I immediately think of how the movies portray heaven to be like: puffy white clouds, a golden gate, everyone is wearing white…

Sounds kinda boring actually.

But how many of us really know what heaven is supposed to look like anyway? So in the meantime, let’s imagine the next best thing…

or better yet, let’s live it!

heaven on earth

βœ¨β˜οΈπŸŒ™βœ¨β˜οΈβœ¨β˜οΈπŸŒ™βœ¨β˜οΈ

To me, heaven on earth means to be present. To live in this now moment and appreciate it to the fullest. Once we decide to be present, we start to notice little things that perhaps we’ve never really noticed before and it takes on an extra, almost unexplainable dimension.

It becomes magical.

Depending on how you perceive life, this can be easy or difficult.

Here are some simple suggestions on ways to experience heaven on earth; I believe that each of us is probably already doing this one way or another – the only difference is that you are fully present, aware & conscious of doing these things:

Waking up, paying attention to your breath and saying ‘thank you’. How often do we really pay attention to the simple act of breathing? If we didn’t breathe, we wouldn’t be alive.

Wake up early and witness the sun rising, or go to the beach and witness the sun setting and see how amazing the sky looks during. The colors of the sky are simply breathtaking during those two daily, natural events.

Hanging out with crystals; I find that by going to a local metaphysical store that has lots of beautiful crystals can literally feel like heaven on earth! It’s hard to be in a bad mood when you’re surrounded by crystals.

Find enjoyment and pleasure in whatever you are doing – especially the mundane, day-to-day stuff; whether you’re driving, washing dishes or working at your computer.

Surround yourself with the things that you love and find to be beautiful. My home is filled with art, books, crystals and stones. A vase full of flowers.

Looking up at the night sky and appreciating the moon, planets and the stars.

Meditating in silence.

Learning something new.

Dancing.

Listening to your favorite song AND dancing.

Actively thinking positive thoughts and looking for ways to feel good without the need to use drugs.

The list can go on and on, really.

What are some of the ways you have personally experienced heaven on earth?
